Central Otago Motorsport Club
A group of keen motorsport enthusiasts formed the club in May 2011, from there it has grown quickly with membership of over 100 members, meetings are held 2nd Tuesday of each month and events held almost every month. The events range from autocrosses (on gravel and grass tracks), as well as race track events at Invercargill, Timaru and Cromwell.
The club has also proudly resurrected the Cromwell Street Sprints held around the industrial area in Cromwell. We encourage all types of motorsport enthusiasts, with all sorts or vehicles. You don't need to spend huge sums of money, provided your car is of warrant of fitness standard and you have a fire extinguisher fitted and have a helmet you are welcome to most events we run (clubsport basic). We also have a club car available for hire. Club Meetings are held at 7:30pm every 2nd Tuesday of each month upstairs at the Victoria Arms Hotel. |
