Light Up Winter - Cromwell Mall

A live band, mulled wine, a night market, Light Up Your Hat competition and some very cool entertainment is planned for this new event for Cromwell.
The idea sparked from wanting a way to celebrate the passing of the darker, colder months and to welcome back the lighter days. It will be a relaxed, family-friendly gathering and an inexpensive, fun night for everyone to enjoy.
The grand finale- weather permitting - is the mass release of lanterns from the Big Fruit reserve. This has the potential to create a visual spectacle that we hope will be featured widely through various media.
Lanterns on sale soon from SBS bank in the Mall. They are fully biodegradable and only $5 each.
