Cromwell has a number of established tourist-orientated activities – and plans for more in the future. Paintball Central, Cromwell Mini Golf and Cromwell Swim Centre provide year round attractions, while Nevis Snowmobile Adventure is for winter months only.

  • This Lester Rowntree venture is presently being planned for the State highway 6 and Ripponvale Road corner of the Cromwell Racecourse Reserve.

    As of April 2011, all resource consents have been obtained and building of a 70 x 40 metre building to house the facility awaiting a start.

  • Resource consent has been obtained for a vehicle proving track and industrial hub for land located at Sandflat Road adjacent to the existing Central Motor Speedway. It is proposed the Park will also be used for driving schools and training, and a number of motorsport meetings.
