River Rock Hot Pools
River Rock Hot Pools is open to the public and welcome guests to try one of the five intimate private hot pools. Set amongst grain silos, a stables building, stone and rocky outcrops with native plantings and views of the surrounding mountains and vineyard. The Hot Pools temperatures range from 34 - 40 degrees. The complex is only suitable for adults. Indoor Baths x two: Housed in a lean-to stables style building each bath is suitable for one or two adults and housed in its own room with private changing area. The two bath areas have views of the mountains and vineyard and are separated by an opaque glass wall which can be opened to form one larger area.
Outdoor Hot Tub: Set amongst a rocky setting with views of the mountains and vineyard. The tub also has a cold shower for when the body gets too hot and needs a quick temperature change. Guests can change in the provided changing rooms. Water temperature is set at 39 degrees. Suitable for up to six adults.
Indoor Spa Tub: The spa/tub is set amongst rocks inside a grain silo with its own shower and views of the mountains and vineyard. Water temperature is set at 38.6 degrees. Guests can change in the silo or in the provided changing rooms. Suitable for one or two adults.
Indoor Swim Spa/Plunge Pool: Housed inside an extended grain silo. State of the art plunge pool with spa seats and lounger at one end and swim jets at opposite end. There are numerous large rocks placed around the pool edge and outside in a fully fenced courtyard area which is suitable for soaking up the suns rays in summer. Guests can change in the provided changing rooms. The water temperature is set between 32.C during summer to 38.C during the colder months. Suitable for up to six adults.

Nockies Palette Wines
In August 2017, Nockies palette expanded upon its original vision by purchasing Georgetown Vineyard, where the award-winning Pinot Noir and Pinot Rose grapes were harvested, in Central Otago, New Zealand.
The Georgetown Vineyard is situated at the Cromwell end of the Kawarau Gorge and sits on the site of the historic Georgetown. Georgetown’s Pinot Noir has an international reputation as one of the finest red grape varieties. The traditional Red Burgundies have been joined by other outstanding examples from the USA and New Zealand in particular. However, the grape is also responsible for making delicious fresh and vibrant Pinot Rosé that provide the drinker with aromas of red berries, apples & peaches. The wines tend to be a bright pink when the colour is pronounced, more so than Rosés made from other varieties, and make for striking wines perfect for warm summer afternoons.

We’re on a wonderful journey in the most spectacular part of New Zealand. When we started this adventure our objective was to create something really special and our motto was, and will always be, “no compromise.”
Our sun drenched north-west facing terraces give us one of the warmest sites in the region with the slopes and gullies providing excellent cool air drainage minimizing any risk of frost.
Stretching from 210 to 350 metres above sea level, the plantings are predominantly on three levels of gently sloping terraces with just one steep face (the ‘ski slope’) where the rows run dramatically down to the lowest terrace poised just above Lake Dunstan.

We had looked at over 30 potential sites in Central Otago by the time we walked out onto a bare sheep paddock nestled on a northern terrace of Bendigo Creek in 2001. It was deepest winter, the sky was azure and cloudless , the Pisa range covered in fresh snow. We felt the magic of the place.
