Gold ‘n’ Notes Hoedown
November 16, 2018 - November 18, 2018
Central Otago’s hugely popular country music festival is back for its 32nd year with a fantastic lineup of talent over three days at the Cromwell Racecourse.
Country music lovers should prepare for hoarse voices, sore feet and late nights with a three-day festival coming to Cromwell. Cromwell’s Gold ’n Notes Hoedown is one of the biggest events on the country music calendar.
A record crowd of 900 people attended the Gold ‘n’ Hoedown in 2017 with over 70 artists singing the weekend away with more than 40 recording artists as well coming from all over NZ.
This year we have an Aussie recording artist Don Costa who was a hit with everyone in 2016 at our Hoedown then and he said he would be back and he is coming back. Also, Carleen Still from the far North who was also a guest Artist in 2016 is coming back too. Top NZ entertainers Joy Adams and Allan Barron are also attending this year. We still have a few other artists to be confirmed, so keep an eye on our Facebook page.
This is a full weekend of entertainment including a little bit of busking in the business area and in The Cromwell Mall itself on Friday and also Saturday Morning.
Tickets will be available for sale on Friday Morning at the Marquee Weekend Pass $50.00, Where would you get 3 full days and 3 nights of music for that price? You can also purchase night passes and day passes should you not be able to stay the entire weekend for set prices ranging from $15-$20 and $25 depending on day or night. (No need to book tickets.)
