2019 Cromwell Street Sprints

Central Otago Motorsport Club with the support of local businesses and volunteers is running the 2019 Cromwell Street Sprints. Last year saw the “king of the streets” Glen Frew who has won the previous 4 years in his modified Mitsubishi Evo 3 (500+hp) lose his title to a newcomer Josh Mitchell in his Subaru Impreza. Will Glen get back his title? Will Josh keep his “crown”?

Entries for 2019 now open! Check out Facebook for photos of the 2018 event. Test your fitness limits with this 75km endurance ride through the iconic Nevis Road from Garston to Bannockburn. Participants start at Garston Township, 315m above sea level, and ride 1.5km on State Highway 6 before turning off onto the metalled Nevis Road.
