About the event
Lace up and hit the trails for one of Central Otago’s most scenic running events.
Whether you're a seasoned runner, weekend warrior, or taking on the challenge with friends, there’s something for everyone.
The stunning course follows the Lake Dunstan Cycle Trail, winding from Alpha Street Reserve to Pisa Moorings and back again. Expect breathtaking lake views, rugged hills, and that crisp Cromwell air – all part of the experience!
A highlight on the local and regional race calendar, the event welcomes athletes of all ages and abilities, and serves as an ideal training run for upcoming races around the country. Bring your energy, your mates, and your best running spirit – Cromwell is calling!

Teams will be able to change runners at these dedicated positions:
Start to Freeway (on lake) (1.2 km from start)
Freeway (on lake) to bay past Matt Connell Wines (2.2 km from the last change point). 1 and 2 can be combined to make one 3.4 km run.
Bay past Aurum to 45th Parallel (3 km from last change point.)
45th Parallel to Footbridge at Pisa Moorings (2.4 km from the last change point)
Footbridge at Pisa Moorings to Turnaround and back (3.5 km from the last change point)
Footbridge at Pisa to 45th Parallel (2.4 km from the last change point)
45th Parallel to Bay past Matt Connell Wines (3 km from last change point)
Bay past Aurum to Freeway (on lake) (2.2 km from last change point) 8 and 9 can be combined to make one 3.4 km run
Freeway (on lake) to Finish (1.2 km from last change point)
