Bannockburn Sluicings

A favourite amongst the locals, the Bannockburn Sluicings Track offers walkers and mountain bikers a fascinating glimpse into the region’s gold mining past. This 3.5 km loop trail weaves through the remnants of a once-thriving goldfield, revealing a striking landscape shaped by mining from 1862 to the 1930s.

Lake Dunstan Trail

The Lake Dunstan Trail is the 23rd and newest trail in the Ngā Haerenga Great Rides of New Zealand network and links the townships of Clyde and Cromwell.
