Building Community, One Connection at a Time

The Cromwell & Districts Promotion Group is delighted to welcome back Chris and Renee King of Signature Homes Central Otago as valued Gold sponsors of this year’s Cromwell Street Party & Fireworks.

For Chris and Renee, community is at the heart of everything they do. As proud locals and family business owners, they’re passionate about giving back to the region they call home — and their support of this much-loved event is one way they’re helping bring people together.

After being inspired by last year’s event, the Kings didn’t hesitate to get involved again. “We were blown away by the atmosphere and the incredible fireworks display,” they say. “It really showed how to showcase such events safely and memorably.”

That commitment to community runs deep. Signature Homes Central Otago proudly supports local organisations including Cromwell College, Cromwell Rugby, Cromwell Hockey Turf, and the Alexandra Ice Skating Rink, as well as the Bannockburn Curling Club. Renee also recently co-hosted a Pink Ribbon Appeal alongside Tania Renfree from Mountainview Services — a reflection of their genuine desire to make a difference.

“Giving back is one of our core values,” says Renee. “We want people to know we’re approachable, authentic, and here to support local initiatives.”

As the Cromwell Street Party & Fireworks returns, the Kings hope it reminds everyone why Cromwell is such a special place — a community built on connection, celebration, and care.
