Join Us At The Cromwell & Districts Promotion Group AGM – Tuesday 4th November

The Cromwell & Districts Promotion Group (CDPG) will be holding its Annual General Meeting on Tuesday 4th November at 6.30pm in The Gate – Gentle Annie’s Function Room.

CDPG works throughout the year to make Cromwell a fantastic place to live, visit, and enjoy. The group is behind many of the town’s signature events, including the popular Light Up Winter in August, the Cromwell Fireworks and Street Party on Labour Weekend Sunday, and the Cherry Festival in December. CDPG also runs the annual fundraiser Quiz Night with Peter Williams, which has become a favourite for locals.

In addition to events, CDPG continuously works on digital destination management content to support Cromwell’s online presence, contributing alongside other fantastic channels as the town grows and evolves as a vibrant and attractive destination for visitors. This ongoing effort helps promote the district and reflects the increasing interest from both locals and visitors.

The group is made up of a committee of volunteers and two part-time contractors, all passionate about Cromwell and its long-term growth. Volunteers play a vital role in helping the group deliver successful events and initiatives.

The AGM is a great opportunity for locals to meet the team, learn more about CDPG’s activities, and explore ways to get involved. There are opportunities for people to contribute ideas and support events throughout the year, even if they don’t join the committee.
