The Cromwell & Districts Promotion Group invites locals and community members to our AGM on Tuesday 4th November at 6.30pm, held in The Gate, Gentle Annie's Function Room. This is a great opportunity to meet our team, learn more about our activities, and explore how you can get involved. 

As a non-profit organisation, our mission is to enhance Cromwell’s image while boosting the prosperity of its community.

Our objectives focus on attracting visitors from outside the region, generating economic flow-on, and fostering community spirit, well-being, and a sense of belonging.

Key initiatives we deliver with the support of local businesses, funders, and other community groups include Light Up Winter, Cromwell Street Party & Fireworks, Cherry Festival, Quiz Night, Cromwell Half Marathon and digital destination content management. Our governing committee of volunteers is supported by two part-time contractors who handle event logistics, marketing, and promotional activities.

Whether you are interested in volunteering, supporting events, or simply learning more about our work, we welcome your involvement.

We are especially delighted to welcome guest speakers Jan Hudson and Mark Christie from Bannockburn Arts. They will share their insights on fostering the arts in our region, highlighting how creativity enriches community life and contributes to the cultural vibrancy of Central Otago.
